Graduate Student Essay Award 

SAMLA is pleased to accept nominations of outstanding graduate student presentations given at the previous year's conference (SAMLA 90 in Birmingham). The Graduate Student Essay Award includes a $250 honorarium, publication in the South Atlantic Review, and complimentary conference registration for SAMLA 91 in Atlanta, GA (Nov. 8-10, 2019).

Nomination forms are available here. SAMLA will notify nominees and request an edited copy of their paper. The nomination deadline is March 1st. Self-nominations are welcome.
