2017 Graduate Student Essay Award 

SAMLA is pleased to accept nominations of outstanding graduate student presentations given at the previous year's SAMLA Convention (SAMLA 88 in Jacksonville). The Graduate Student Essay Award includes a $250 honorarium, publication in the South Atlantic Review, and complementary conference registration for SAMLA 89 in Atlanta (Nov. 3-5, 2017). Nomination forms are available here

SAMLA will notify nominees and request an edited copy of their paper. 

Nomination deadline is May 1st.
